Iris have such beautiful abstract shapes. They are a joy to paint.

Another unusual bird residing at Sylvan Heights Bird Park.  The red beak is amazing.

This proud mother swan and her baby caught my eye and heart. The reflected lights were quite difficult to capture in a believable way.

I spent a lovely afternoon  at Sylvan Heights Water Fowl Park recently and took several photos of their gorgeous swans. This is the first of a series I hope to do.

This was one of the cupcakes from my daughter in law's baby shower. Months later a beautiful little granddaughter was born!

I have a Climbing Rose on my garage wall that has managed to survive my neglect so as a thank you to the rose I created a little painting of it.

Just finished a commission of a Yorkie Maltese cross. She has so much personality that she just seems about to burst. Hope I captured a little of that.
